WHEN IN AMSTERDAM DON'T WEAR...
Amsterdams beggar population is unlike any in the world, they beg in 5 languages and have keen skills for picking prey. Bandannas worn on the head is a very "American" style statement to make and they will lock onto you in a second! (because you are a "rich" American of course) Leave your bandanna in your pocket and enjoy slightly fewer hassles from Amsterdams Beggars (They will still beg - but with somewhat less intensity)
