People can't absorb more then 4 hours, maximum, of a meeting. If there is more material then can be covered in 4 hours, break it up, give them material to review/do prior to the meeting or follow up reading. It’s good to organize the meeting with your meeting objectives and what you want the people to retain as a result of the meeting; share this with them up front.

Building to code means that your project meets the minimum requirements for safety. If it's a residents that you're building, for example, and the code� requires a 2"� X 8"� joyce, spaced 24"� on center, for that floor support and that's what you use. . . . and everything else is up to code�, you will get a certificate of occupancy�.
