REMEMBERING A PERSON'S NAME
There is a greater likelihood that you will recall a person's name at some future time if you verbally say their name when you meet them for the first time. Apparently there is a section of the brain that registers and links verbal & visual information.

GRADUATE SCHOOL GRADING
In college courses at the Bachelors level the grade of "C" is considered to be average. However, in graduate school (Masters & Doctorate level) a "C" grade is not average; it's like the kiss of death for students. Receiving "C's" in two graduate courses probably will result in dismissal.

CALCULATING GARDEN MULCH COVERAGE
It takes 1/3rd of a cubic yard of mulch to cover 100 square feet of space at a 1 inch depth. Landscapers normally recommend a 3 inch depth for most gardens, so 1 cubic yard is needed for every 100 square feet. Please see Comments for further detail.
