On a sunny day, set the shutter speed on your camera to the number closest to your camera's ISO or your film speed. Set your aperture to 16. Your exposure should be perfect. Widen your aperture three stops on cloudy days.

5525 Weather
RUNNING VS WALKING IN THE RAIN
It has been said that a person would be less wet if they ran in the rain versus if they walked that same distance. Fact of the matter is that it’s the opposite. A person who runs will be wetter than if they walked that same distance. It seems counterintuitive, but the etching steel show put this to the test. Here is a link to that experiment. From now on, I’ll be strolling in the rain while others will think me crazy, but I’ll be drier than them.
