SEVEN AND FOURTEEN YEAR DIVORCE PATTERNS
Two periods can be considered the most critical for the survival of marriages: (a) the first 7 years of marriage, during which half of all divorces are known to occur, and (b) the period during which the first child reaches 14 years of age...

Finding Things
WHERE'S MY HAT!
Oh, on my head. Misplaced items are often right where we think they should be or immediately nearby. When we can't find something right away, it's frequently because we looked hastily in the first place, panic, and then spend most of our time looking elsewhere.

DETERMINING SPEED OF MORSE CODE
A very accurate means of determining the speed at which Morse Code (telegraphy) is being sent is to measure the time in seconds it takes to send the word, "PARIS." Divide this figure into a constant of 51.6. The result will be the telegraphy speed in Words Per Minute. Example: A stopwatch indicates that it took 2.2 seconds to send "PARIS." 51.6 divided by 2.2 equals 23.4 words per minute.

MORSE CODE (TELEGRAPHY) SPEED
A simplified means of determining speed of Morse Code telegraphy is to count the number of dashes continually sent using consistent spacing between them in 5 seconds. From this you will derive the Morse Code speed in Words Per Minute. This method works best when using electronically generated keyer Morse telegraphy.

CHANGED JOB TITLES IN ADS
If a job title is changed to something more fancy while the company is still recruiting for the position, the job is a lemon, or doesn't pay enough.

JOB MEASUREMENT IS A BULLSHIT DETECTOR
Measure actual performance. My employee who was up front with having ADHD, and had peers blame various errors on her, turned out, objectively, to be the most accurate employee in the department.

JET AIRCRAFT CROSSING RESTRICTIONS
To calculate when to commence descent for an altitude crossing restriction: Drop last 3 zeros of the altitude change required. Multiply this number by 3. This figure represents the number in miles prior to the crossing fix necessary to safely arrive at the new assigned altitude.(Predicated on standard 2000 FPM ATC expectation for jet transport aircraft). Example: Cruising at 30,000 feet(FL 300) when
Omega Speedmaster réplique montre
issues the following: "Cross XYZ at 10,000 feet." 30 - 10 = 20. 20 x 3 = 60. Begin 2000 FPM descent 60 miles out. I add a 5 mile "cushion" and would start descent 65 nm from fix.
