COOKING SHRIMP
Don't let them boil. Bring the water to a boil, drop the shrimp in and turn off the burner when small bubbles start to break the surface of the water. Then just let them sit 3-7 minutes depending on the size of the shrimp. They'll be firm, sweet and never overcooked.

FINDING MR. RIGHT REQUIRES TALKING
Love at first sight? Only with a lot of luck. You can't really know whether you even like someone until you've had 30 hours of productive conversation. Be wary of the one who only invites you to places where you can't chat, like movies, plays and concerts.

ASSESSING THE EDIBILITY OF WILD PLANTS
In general, plants that taste sweet or sour contain sugars, salts and acids and are likely not poisonous. Plants that taste bland usually contain high amounts of fiber and water and are usually edibile as well. Eat these with caution. Plants that taste soapy contain alkaloids and are probably poisonous. Plants that taste bitter contain soluble alkaloids such as strychnine and should not be eaten.
