Politics
POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS
When you are canvassing door-to-door, you can optimize your "time per voter" by spending no more than 20 to 30 seconds with each person you meet. Most people will decide whether they like you within that time, and most will want to get back to whatever they were doing when you interrupted them. You should, however, take time to discuss issues with the interested persons.

GETTING TO THE GREEN
To hit a ball to the green, first decide which club will hit it to the green with your best swing, then swallow your pride and use the next longest club and a more relaxed swing (instead of a 5-iron use a 4-iron). You'll be on the green far more often than you'll be over it. The ball will fly straighter too.
