DETERMINING THE HEALTH OF A FARM
If a farm has a debt-to-asset ratio of more than 70 percent, it is in severe trouble. If the debt-to-asset ratio is between 40 and 70 percent, the farm is facing serious problems. And if the debt-to-asset ratio is less than 30 percent, the operator is safe.

GETTING SOMEWHERE ON TIME
To make sure you get somewhere on time, double the estimated travel time for a trip of 10 minutes or less; add 15 minutes to a trip of 30 minutes or less; add 50 percent to a trip of 30 minutes to 2 hours; and add 25 to 30 percent to a trip of more than 2 hours.

You should check your seat adjustment with your hands at the ten and two o'clock positions on the steering wheel. You should be close enough so that you can make almost a full half-turn of the wheel without having to lean forward or having your elbows touch your body.
