USING A MICROWAVE
If you are not sure if a piece of glassware is safe for use in a microwave oven pour 1/2 cup of water into a separate glass measure. Place both the dish you wish to test and the measure inside your oven and run it at full power for one minute. Check the temperature of the dish and of the water. If the water is warm but the dish is cool, it's safe for microwave cooking.
