JOEZ LAW OF THE TEH INTERNETZ:
When insulting someone's intelligence in an online dispute, you will make a spelling error which makes you look like an idiot. E.g., "Get a brain, morans!"

MOSQUITO BITES
To stop the itching of a mosquito bite, just rinse the bite in very hot water. If you do this in the morning the bite won't itch for about a day.

CALUCLATING DELAY TIME
Sound travels at 1,129 feet per second. For practical purposes, simply remember that sound travels approximately 1 foot per millisecond. This is useful when dialing in digital delay times in pro-audio applications.

When an assailant intends to take you someplace else by force from the place of first encounter, the odds of your coming back alive are very poor. So fight hard for your life as soon as you find out the bad guy has a change of venue in mind; it’s about the only chance you’ve got.

VOICEMAIL LEAVER
When leaving a voicemail, leave your number as near the beginning of the message as possible (most people wait until towards the end). That way, if the recipient didn't catch your number the first time through, they don't have to listen through your entire rambling message just to get that info.

EVALUATING RABIES EXPOSURE FROM A BAT
The general rule of thumb is if you wake up and find a bat in your bedroom, you're considered to be exposed even if you didn't remember it hitting you. The bite of the bat is so miniscule that it might not even wake you up.
