GETTING RID OF ODORS IN ROOMS
If you wish to get rid of an unpleasant odor such as cigarette and cigar smoke or mildew and musty odors in a room, put out an unconvered saucer of white vinegar in the room and let stand for at least two hours. The vinegar will absorb the smoke or mildew odors. In a bathroom, lighting 2 or 3 wooden matches and blowing them out will have the same affect.

To figure a 20% tip (a nice amount for good service), take the total bill, move the decimal point one place to the left (which is 10%), round up to the nearest dollar, then double it for ~20%. E.g., total bill: $28.65, move the decimal one place: $2.865 (10%), round up: $3, double: $6.

When learning to fly a helicopter with a throttle, you have more fingers than thumbs so turning the throttle towards the fingers increases RPM and towards the THUMB decreases it.
