PREDATORS
Predators eyes are found on the front of the face as they are looking for their prey. Most preys eyes are located on the side of the face as they are looking for the predator which attacks from the rear or side.

OLD RADIOS & TV'S
Always assume a Radio or TV that is old enough to use vacuum tubes doesn't work. Applying power to a long dorment Radio or TV runs a great risk of damaging very hard to find parts, if this happens the item becomes almost worthless.

TELL SEVERITY OF THE WINTER BY SQUIRREL
If a squirrel's tail is thick and fluffy in the fall it will be a rough winter, if they are hiding their nuts in the ground very little snow, hidding up in the trees lots of snow.

Hitchhiking
HITCHHIKING NEAR A MILITARY BASE
If there's a crowd all hitchhiking in the same direction, towards town for example, cross the road and stick your thumb out going in the unpopular direction, then ride a couple of miles, get out and cross the road again.
