Use the WHOLE onramp when you merge. This gives you the maximum time and space to get up to traffic speed. It also give

WEIGHT BELTS
Always position weights on a belt such that there is more weight on the front half of the belt than the back. Gravity, doing what it does will make the heavier part of the belt tend to migrate to the bottom, which can cause a weight belt to change sides during a dive resulting in the release buckle ending up in the back instead of the front. BAD !!!!

EXITING FREEWAY TRAFFIC
What's the best speed? With following traffic, do your best to drive off the freeway at traffic speed and THEN brake. If you slow down before leaving the freeway lane, then everyone behind you has to slow as well causing chain reaction backups, etc.

PERFECT HEARTS FOR CAKES & VALENTINES
For cakes: For a one layer sheet cake: Bake standard box cake in **one** square pan & **one round** pan whose diameter is equal to the side of the square pan. When baked & cooled, cut circle-shaped layer in half. Place half-circles on two adjacent sides of the square. Voila! A nicely balanced, symmetrical heart... Ice & decorate. This works extremely well on bulletin boards, valentines, drawing programs which allow you to cut objects in half. etc.

WHAT'S THE BEST SPEED?
The speed limit! Going faster than the speed limit has it's obvious detractions. If you go slower, most people behind you will be less than happy. If you aren't comfortable/able to drive the posted limit pull over and let folks pass. Don't be an obstruction.
