CHOOSING BETWEEN TWO THINGS
If you can't decide between two alternatives--let's say between a blue suit and a gray one--toss a coin (heads, it's blue; tails, it's gray). If the coin comes down heads and you have the least inclination to make it two out of three tosses, you know it's the gray suit you want.

BRINGING IN THE INFIELD
Here's an old baseball rule: When you bring in the infield, you make a .400 hitter out of a .200 hitter.

If a supervisor spends more than 10 percent of her time dealing with the squabbles of subordinates, the organization is overstaffed and the subordinates do not have enough work.

Dieting
THE TWO KEYS TO DIETING
Consume less and/or metabolize more. Any diet plan, supplement or gadget will only help you do one of these two things. Ultimately, you can save a lot of frustration and money by doing nothing more than consciously and continually choosing to eat less and get more exercise.

Survival
W.H.O.TO STAY WARM & KEEP YOUR COOL.
Fact: 50% of your body's heat loss is from your head.*** Rule of Thumb: In severe or uncomfortable temps, Wear a Hat Outdoors. *** IN WINTER: Wear wind-proof insulating hats – for sleeping, too. *** IN SUMMER: Wear your shade & AC: Very large-brimmed sturdy hat, loose fit & breathes (straw, coarse fabric &/or grommet holes). **** SEVERE HEAT: Wet hat thoroughly – inside & out; wet entire head, ditto for bandana. Place wet bandana over head. Place hat over bandana. When bandana starts feeling dry, repeat procedure.

WINNING NEW CUSTOMERS
It's five times harder to sell something to new customer than it is to a previous customer as long as you made them happy the first time. If you you didn't make them happy, the opposite is true.
