DESIGNING A NAME BADGE
If you're designing name badges for a conference or other event, make the person's name biggest of all the info. It's big enough if you can read it not while holding a sample in your hand, but while a person 8-10 feet away holds it up. That way, people can spot each other's names in casual mingling without the telltale leaning in and squinting at each other's chests. The event name, location, dates, etc. can be tiny; everyone knows where they are and why.
