DOUBLING YOUR MONEY
You can quickly calculate the number of years it will take to double your money by dividing the number 72 by your interest rate. For example, if your money is invested at 6 percent interest, it will take 72 divided by 6 or 12, years to double.

MOON WATCHING
To know whether the moon you see tonight will be bigger or smaller tomorrow night - In the Northern Hemisphere, the moon spells "DOC" each month - first it looks like a "D" (waxing moon), then an "O" (full), then a "C" (waning.) South of the equator, it's just backwards and the word is "COD" - "C" moons will grow and "D" moons will shrink.

TESTING IN WEB BROWSERS
If you only have time to do thorough testing of your web site or application in two web browsers, use Internet Explorer for Windows and Firefox for Windows or Mac OS. It needs to work in IE because so many people use it by default, and if it works in Firefox it'll work in nearly all the other third-party browsers, including Camino, Safari, Opera, etc. If you only have time to test in one web browser, you're in the wrong line of work.
