When options are few, the choice is easy. If presented with a choice to make where there are a lot of options, pare down the options to basic essentials, and the choice will be a lot easier.

Buy cedar shoe trees. You only need one pair. Put them in the shoes you just took off. They will absorb moisture and help the shoes keep their shape. Increases lifespan by 50%.

CHOOSING A PINEAPPLE
If a pineapple at the market looks green, take a look at the base. If it has begun to turn a little orange or red there, you'll be able to ripen it at home. If there is no break, the pineapple was picked too green. It will have a woody texture and will never be very sweet.

WATCH THE COWS
If a majority of the cows in a field are lying down, a shower is likely to come. You also gauge the likelihood of a shower by the percentage of the cows lying down. It sounds unreliable, but the cows are never wrong.
