Ethanol stores about 2/3 the energy of gasoline. Therefore, a 15% ethanol blend will reduce your mileage by 5%.

Hitchhiking
HITCHHIKING NEAR A MILITARY BASE
If there's a crowd all hitchhiking in the same direction, towards town for example, cross the road and stick your thumb out going in the unpopular direction, then ride a couple of miles, get out and cross the road again.

VOICEMAIL LEAVER
When leaving a voicemail, leave your number as near the beginning of the message as possible (most people wait until towards the end). That way, if the recipient didn't catch your number the first time through, they don't have to listen through your entire rambling message just to get that info.

Never stand directly in front of an elevator. In most cases when the elevator arrives the people inside tend to explode out when the doors open and NEVER expect someone to be standing there.
