LUMBER MEASUREMENTS
The actual measurements of lumber don't match the spoken size (A 2x4 isn't actually 2 inches by 4 inches, its 1.5"x3.5") Up to 2 inches, the actual measurements are less by a quarter inch (1/4"), from 2"-8", they're less by half an inch, and above 8", less by three-quarters.
