CHOPPING WOOD
Most people who try chopping a tree with an axe soon discover that the axe will wedge in the wood if the cut is not made wide enough. In most cases, the width of the chop area should be as wide as the tree is thick.

PICKING YOUR BEVERAGES
Get the orange juice for free on the airplane and buy the coffee in the terminal after you land. OJ is pricier in the airport than decent coffee, and you'll certainly never find decent coffee in the air.

CALUCLATING DELAY TIME
Sound travels at 1,129 feet per second. For practical purposes, simply remember that sound travels approximately 1 foot per millisecond. This is useful when dialing in digital delay times in pro-audio applications.
