NEGOTIATING RIGHT OF WAY WHEN DRIVING
When driving, you can assume that any person travelling at faster than walking speed under their own power (eg. runners, cyclists) will always want to avoid stopping if your respective trajectories intersect. Therefore, if safe, you should cede right of way.
