ESTIMATING YOUR IDEAL BODY WEIGHT
To estimate your ideal body weight, figure on 110 pounds for the first 5 feet of height if you're a man, then 5 pounds for every inch of height over 5 feet. If you're a woman, figure on 100 pounds for the first 5 feet, and 5 pounds for every inch above that.

BUYING CLOTHES THAT YOU WILL LIKE
When shopping for clothes, if you very quickly scan the wall from a distance, any items that stand out are probably items that you would enjoy wearing without second-guessing yourself. If nothing catches your eye during this quick scan, move on without buying anything.

CHILDREN IN RESTAURANTS
Don't take a table in a restaurant that's adjacent to any children under 12. They're a lot louder up close than they seem when you walk in the door. Restaurants know this, but they'll always try to put you at those tables because they're unpopular.
