When exercising in the heat, drop your performance expectations by about 2 percent for every 10 degrees above 55 degrees F. The same 2 percent adjustment works for every 1,000 feet above 5,000 feet altitude.

DETERMINING WHETHER YOU'RE FAT
A man's waist measurement should not exceed his hip measurement, and a woman's waist measurement should not be greater than 80 percent of her hip measurement. In addition, any rear end with a row of lights and a sign saying "Your Message Goes Here" could also use some slimming.
