FIELDING A FLY BALL
If you play centerfield, wear a billed cap and keep your head level. Go in on any ball that is hit so that it never disappears over the top of the bill; go out on any ball that disappears over the bill. If the ball is hit high and shallow, you will have time to recover.

End any gambling session after winning half of your session's stake. If you start a session with $2,000, quit when you reach $3,000. You may ride out a hot streak; but as soon as you lose one bet, it's time to quit, convert your profits to traveler's checks, and mail them home.
