IS IT SILVERPLATE OR SILVER?
Silver plate usually has the initials EPNS or SP, sterling is usually stamped STERLING. Alpca Silver and German Silver are actually Nickle.

CHOOSING A SEAT IN CLASS
If possible, when choosing a seat, one should try to sit in a seat that leaves either one or three (not two) seats between him/her and the next person. This will allow another to sit in between without being in too close proximity to either person.

MAGNIFYING POWER OF A TELESCOPE
The "usable" magnifying power of a telescope is about 50x the width of the tube. A 4" Newtonian scope will be able to magnify 200x. A $100 telescope promising 675x magnification is going to be junk

LOOK FOR THE EXIT SIGN
When giving a speech in a public setting, speak directly to the red glowing exit sign. It's generally at the back of the auditorium/conference room. It's up high and easy to find. Plus you won't be distracted by looking in to the face of an audience member.
