Pain and suffering awards start at three times the cost of the therapy. Rib injuries--though agonizing--do not offer a good return because tape and pain-killers cost little. Back injuries are better because they cost so much money to treat.

You can tell if your water is hard or soft by looking at your ice cubes. Hard-water cubes have a white spot in the center where minerals congregate; soft-water cubes are uniformly cloudy.

STAYING WARM ON A COLD NIGHT
Roll up tomorrow's clothes and put them on either side of the foot end of your sleeping bag. It creates an "oven" for your feet, keeping them away from the outside air. Dress in your pre-heated clothes inside the bag before exiting in the morning.
