GROWING PLANTS INDOORS
Most indoor plants do best in 1,000 to 1,200 foot-candles of light. You can determine whether you have enough light in a room by taking a camera with a built-in light meter setting the ASA to 200, the f stop to 1/16, and the shutter speed to 1/60th of a second. If there is enough light for a picture, then there are 1,000 to 1,200 foot-candles of light.
