SAVE TIME, USE THE BEST PAINT AND BRUSH
When painting your home interior, buy the very best quality paint and use a high quality brush. You will not need to spend hours taping up all the edges because the paint will not drip and you will be able to paint dead straight lines.

SPOTTING SINGLE WOMEN
A woman will mention the name of a significant other (husband, boyfriend, girlfriend) within the first 15 minutes of casual conversation, or will refer to herself in plural (as in "yes, we went to see that movie last week"). If she doesn't, and doesn't in the next 15 minutes of conversation, either, she's single.

HEATING A GARAGE OR WORKSHOP
Heaters are rated by BTU, which stands for British Thermal Unit (the amount of heat needed to heat one pound of water by 1 degree F). To find out how many BTU you need: Calculate the volume of the space to be heated by multiplying square footage by height then multiply that number by 4 if your insulation is poor, 3 if it's average, or 2 if it's good. The resulting number is a ballpark figure for how many BTU you'll need.
