HOW MANY PEOPLE FEEL THE SAME WAY?
Most people don't contact elected officials with their opinions. Therefore, politicians attach a "weight" to comments from constituents. A form e-mail reflects the opinion of 5 people. A personal e-mail reflects the opinion of 10 people. A fax reflects the opinion of 10 people. A postcard reflects the opinion of 10 people. A form letter (paper) reflects the opinion of 20 people. (This includes handwritten notes that are obviously part of an organized letter-writing event.) A phone call reflects the opinion of 30 people. A truly personal letter reflects the opinion of 50 people.

TESTIFYING IN COURT
When testifying before a jury, remember that the other side's attorney wants to make you look flustered. Always sound like you're calm and sure of yourself, regardless of how fast your heart is pounding. Even if the other attorney has exposed a weakness in your testimony, your calm demeanor can minimize the damage caused by that. Also remember that the jury is probably confused by all those competing claims. The best thing you can do is make your story sound simple.

DIVISIBILITY TEST FOR 4
A whole number is evenly divisibly by 4 if the last two digits of the number represent a number divisible by 4. Example: 373,895,648 -> The last two digits, 48, when divided by 4 = 12. Thus 373,895,648 is divisible by 4.
