RULE OF THIRDS
When shooting a landscape photo, mentally divide the photo vertically into thirds. Shoot so the horizon sits on the line above the bottom third.

IT BROKE BECAUSE YOU CHANGED SOMETHING.
This should be obvious but it takes some learning: if something suddenly stops working while developing software, it's almost certainly something you just changed. Don't blame the compiler, the user, the environment or some other piece of code. Stop and think - look at the code you just changed. Yeah, that's the problem.

GETTING THROUGH COLLEGE
Never argue about a grade with a college instructor unless you're pointing out a simple arithmetic error. In the long run, it will cost you more than you gain. If the grading is grossly unfair, drop the course because nothing can save you from disaster.
