PUTTING OUT A FIRE
Direct your fire extinguisher at the base of the flames from a distance of less than ten feet. If you can't get any closer than ten feet, the fire is probably too large for a hand-held fire extinguisher. Concentrate your efforts on leaving the vicinity of the fire.

Electricity
CALCULATE THE COST OF POWERING A COMPUTE
If you know the amount of heat a box puts out, in BTU, you can determine the cost of the electricity to power and cool it. BTU / 2510 * $/kWhr * hours/month = cost/month For example, if electricity costs 10ยข per kWhr, and there are on average 730 hours in a month, then each 1000 BTU server costs $29 per month in cooling and electricity. If you don't know the BTU, multiply the wattage times x 3.5 to obtain the BTU.

RIDING WITH CHILDREN IN A TRAILER
When bike riding with your children in a trailer, you'll take 30 to 40 percent longer to cover the same distance; more if you stop often to look at horses. Safe top speed with the trailer is 15 mph; 20 on an open road.

WHAT HASN'T BEEN TESTED DOESN'T WORK
When releasing freshly developed software, you should assume that anything that has not successfully passed a validation test will fail doing so. Sotware essentially does not work, except at the few places where you saw it operate properly.
