If the dealer has an upcard of 5, don't take any new cards because the dealer will probably bust.

Extremely wrong. With the dealer displaying a 5 or a 6 the chances of the dealer's "busting" is approx. 40%

WRONG. Standard basic strategy with a dealer upcard of 4, 5, or 6 is to stand on a total of 12 or higher. Not any total. So if you have a total of less than 12, take a card. If you are going to play blackjack, don't be stupid enough to not learn 'basic strategy' (type it into Google). It doesn't take long and you will be more likely to come out a winner.
