MEN'S BELT SIZING
According to the majority of U.S. belt makers, the most widely used method of choosing the proper belt size for men is to buy one that is 1-2" larger than your pants size, or as some say: ONE SIZE UP. Example, if you wear a size 36 pants, you would need a size 38 belt. Of course, for those who wear their shorts about their pants, they probably don't need a belt so it doesn't matter.

HOW LONG TO HOLD A TITLE ONSCREEN
When trying to determine how long to keep a title onscreen in a film, read through it 3 times silently to yourself as fast as you can. That's how long you should keep it up so that it's easy for the average viewer to read taking into account that people read at different rates and at different levels of understanding.

SHOPPING FOR THE FRESHEST LOAF OF BREAD
Bread companies in the U. S. use a standard color code system to determine when bread is delivered to a grocery store. Bread wrappers come with either a twist tie or a flat plastic closer. Each delivery day has a different color closer code. Monday = Blue, Tuesday = Green, Thursday = Red, Friday = White and Saturday = Yellow. You don't necessarily need to memorize the link between color and day of the week. As the colors go alphabetically (B-G-R-W-Y) it's fairly easy to remember when in the week bread is delivered compared to the day of your shopping.

The cooking time for a turkey scales with mass to the 2/3 power. A 12 lb bird will take about 3 hours to roast at 325F.
