EASE OF PULLING OR PUSHING AN OBJECT
Assuming a level ground: when you push an object there is a component of force that adds to the weight of the body and hence there is more friction. When you pull the object, the vertical component of force is against the weight of body and hence there is less overall friction. So it is easy to pull than push an object on level ground.

The best case scenario for a driver having a light-flashing police car behind them is the following protocol. Driver should signal and safely pull off the road/street and stop in a nearby lighted area. The dome light should be turned on. Driver and passengers should not make excited moves or duck down. Driver’s window down and driver’s hands should be near the top of the steering wheel. Greeting the officer is just the beginning of the interaction.
