FIGHTING GERMS
When in public places, avoid touching things like escalator rails, stair rails, and anything in a bathroom after you have washed your hands. If a bathroom door needs to be pulled to open, use a towel or even toilet paper to open
replique montre
. Wash your hands thoroughly after using a public restroom. Also, flush the &%#$ toilet!

Finding Things
WHERE DID I LEAVE THAT #!@%$* THING?
This assumes you had something in your hand just a few minutes ago. If you want to find it, the worst thing you can do is to turn the room upside down. You may well bury what you are looking for. Take a breath and think about where you have been, what you have been doing since the last time you had it in your hand. Look on top of tables, counters, book cases. Look on the FLOOR! Don't just MOVE things; if you DO move something, make certain you are not also moving what you ware looking for.

THINK TWICE, SPEAK ONCE
When I tried carpentry, years ago, I learned, measure twice, cut once. It applies to many things in life.

CHOOSING SPICES
If you don't have a recipe to follow, before you add any herbs or spices, smell all the ones you think you might want to include. Think outside the box and smell some you wouldn't normally include, e.g., thyme in an Indian curry. Eliminate some, re-smell, and then add some of each to the
replique montre
. And remember that you can always add more, but you can never take any out.

UNTANGLING THINGS
When trying to untangle a mess (string, necklace, whatever), look for a loop that doesn't have anything passing through it. When you find one, pull both ends of the loop through whatever is around it, and look for another loop. Removal of all obvious loops will simplify the overall problem, and you may see an easy way to complete the process.
